Preheat oven to 325
1 1/2 cups all-purpose
flour 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate in 1/2 oz pieces 4 oz unsweetened chocolate in 1/2 oz pieces |
1 1/2 cups packed light
brown sugar 12 TBSP Fleischman's margarine (please do not substitute) 3 eggs 1 tsp pure vanilla extract 3 cups Milk Chocolate Chips |
Melt semi-sweet and unsweet chocolate in double
boiler or microwave. Set aside and let cool to room temperature
Sift flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Set aside
Beat light brown sugar and margarine until creamy
Beat in eggs 1 at a time, scraping down bowl after each egg
Add vanilla and melted chocolate and beat for 30-60 seconds
Add sifted dry ingredients and Milk Chocolate Chips, beat on low 30 seconds
Drop 2 level tablespoons of batter on nonstick cookie sheet (or cookie sheet with
parchment paper
if you don't have non-stick) for each cookie
Cook 18 - 22 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool 5 minutes on cookie sheet. Transfer to
cooling rack
Store in a sealed plastic container.
