Spaghetti-Crust Pie

6 oz. spaghetti
2 Tblsp. Butter
2 eggs
1/3 Cup grated Parmesan
8 oz ground beef (I usually use a pound)
1 medium onion
1- 8 oz can pizza sauce
Mozzarella Cheese for topping

Preheat oven to 350

Cook spaghetti according to package directions. After draining spaghetti, mix in butter to prevent sticking.

In a small mixing bowl, lightly beat the two eggs. Add Parmesan cheese to the beaten eggs and mix well. Pour the egg/cheese mixture over the spaghetti and mix well.

Grease a 9-inch pie plate with shortening. Put spaghetti mixture into pie plate. Press spaghetti with the back of a spoon to form a crust, building up the sides.

Dice onion. Put onion and ground beef (season the beef if you'd like) into a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook until the beef is browned. Drain grease. Add pizza sauce to beef mixture and mix well. Pour beef mixture into the spaghetti crust and spread evenly.

Bake in 350 oven for 20 minutes. Remove pie from oven and top with mozzarella cheese. Replace pie in oven and bake for another 5 minutes to melt the cheese. Let pie stand for 5 minutes before serving.
