Cinnamon Cake

Ingredients

3 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp baking powder  1 tsp baking soda
6 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup buttermilk
3/4 lb butter

Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda together
Cream butter & sugar until light and fluffy
Add 2 eggs, at a time. Beat well after adding each egg
Alternately add buttermilk and sifted ingredients thirds, mixing after each addition, but DO NOT OVERBEAT !
Grease 18x13 inch pan and add cake mixture
Bak 350 degrees 18-22 minutes or when inserted toothpick comes out clean

Cinnamon cake topping
ingredients:
1/4 lb butter, melted
1 cup sugar
1 Tbsp cinnamon

Directions:
Mix cinnamon and sugar together
Pour 1/3 of melted butter on 1/3 surface of cake, placing 1/3 of cinnamon sugar on top of melted butter. Repeat until entire cake is covered
Refrigerate cake after serving
